Building strength & friendships under an open sky
Meet Gill & Andrew
WildStrong started with a shared frustration. Andrew had spent years in the fitness industry, from personal training to strength and conditioning, before moving into public health. The more he worked across both worlds, the more obvious the gap became.
We know how to build strength, but we’re not very good at helping people access it in their everyday lives.
Gill came at it from a different angle, trying to find ways of moving that felt natural, sustainable, and social.
Together, we kept coming back to the same question: Why does fitness feel so disconnected from real life?
So we started experimenting training outside, using whatever was available and moving with other people instead of in isolation.
WildStrong is the result of that process. We are ever evolving and learning and working with different populations with complex barriers, but everything we do is grounded in the same idea:
Movement should be shared and open up our world.
