Launching our Level 1 Independent Trainers Certification

Learn how to be a confident and compassionate movement trainer. Our Level 1 certification will give you all the skills and confidence you need to teach one-to-one, online or small groups.

We’re excited to announce that the WildStrong Level 1 is now its own accredited, transferable certification.  This means that if you’re looking to become a movement trainer or you’re already a Personal Trainer or movement instructor looking for a certification that will allow you to teach in-person or online, you can do it with us!

We developed our Level 1 because Andrew’s years of teaching prep-courses for Personal Training Certifications made us realise that there are very few courses that provide you with the skills that you need to become a confident and inclusive trainer. We felt like other coaching courses were either too technical to be useful in practice or focused too much on the physical competence of the trainer.

We wanted something that would take anyone with an interest in movement and building communities through movement and help them become a confident trainer.

It’s taken us a fair bit of back and forth to work this out but here’s what it will look like:

The Level 1 will be offered in three packages to:

  • Franchisees (as a part of the franchise agreement)

  • Community trainers - open to anyone at a reduced rate but can only be used only under the auspices of WildStrong. We want an affordable option for WildStrong members or anyone who is just interested in learning more about movement and building in-person communities.

  • Independent trainers - This certification can be used to teach groups and one-to-one classes, in person or online.

We’ve just posted our course dates and we’ll have more details to follow on the remit of the Independent Trainers category.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please just drop us an email.
