Online Programme Producer
6-month freelance contract | 2–3 days per week | Remote (UK preferred)
WildStrong is looking for an experienced Learning Experience Designer to help us develop and improve our online learning.
Over the past several years we've created a substantial library of teaching, webinars, live courses, workshops, videos and practical resources. We also run established online programmes with thriving communities.
The expertise already exists. What we're looking for is someone who can work alongside us to shape that knowledge into outstanding online learning experiences.
This isn't primarily a content creation role. Andrew and Gill will provide the teaching, ideas and subject expertise. Your role is to identify what matters most, organise it into coherent learning journeys, simplify complexity where needed, and help create courses that are engaging, practical and genuinely enjoyable to work through.
What you'll be working on
You'll work closely with our founders and team across two main areas.
Developing new evergreen courses
We'll be drawing on a substantial library of existing teaching to create new evergreen online programmes.
You'll help identify opportunities to turn existing webinars, live teaching and resources into coherent standalone courses.
That might involve bringing together material from several different sources, identifying what learners really need, deciding how content should be structured, and recommending what works best as video, written resources, activities, graphics or reflection.
You'll think carefully about the learner journey - what people need to understand, experience and practise, and how each stage builds on the last.
Improving our existing online programmes
You'll also review our current courses and help improve how they work online.
This could include:
Restructuring modules and learner journeys
Simplifying and editing existing material
Identifying gaps, repetition and unnecessary complexity
Improving navigation and usability
Breaking longer teaching into more engaging learning experiences
Recommending content that should be updated or re-filmed
Designing onboarding journeys and participant communications
Creating practical activities rather than relying on passive content
Improving accessibility and reducing cognitive load
Designing opportunities for experimentation, reflection, feedback and social learning
Using participant feedback to identify where learners disengage
Creating consistency across programmes while allowing each to retain its own character
Helping manage course development projects from concept through to launch
Current platforms
We currently deliver our online programmes using:
Circle
YouTube (private video hosting)
MailerLite
Zoom
Canva
Google Drive
DaVinci Resolve (video editing)
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience designing online learning or digital education programmes
Can confidently organise large amounts of existing content into coherent learning journeys
Understands adult learning, behaviour change and learner engagement
Enjoys improving clarity, structure and participant experience
Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple course development projects
Is comfortable collaborating with subject matter experts while taking ownership of the learning design process
