Over four in-person training days, followed by a library of videos, lessons, session ideas and resources you can explore at your own pace. You'll learn how to build practical strength, adaptability, confidence, and connection through movement.

Some come to train, some come to teach, everyone leaves with more confidence, connection, and tools for life.

We focus on real-world movement and you’ll learn skills that translate to everyday life, with plenty of time to ask questions, try things out, and build confidence in your own way.

4 days in-person teaching, plus an online learning library

We blend evidence, coaching experience, and practical outdoor movement that build capability for real life.

We keep our intakes small so there’s time to ask questions, test things out, learn together and answer questions in depth.

You’ll get to know the people around you, and we’ll get to know you and that’s where the magic happens, in shared discovery and hands-on learning.

Days 1 & 2: Movements for life & heuristics

  • The philosophy behind Movements for Life and how to build practical fitness.  

  • Evidence-based movement and community building theories.

  • What these movements look and feel like to us and others, and what the limitations and barriers might be.

  • We explore theories of well-being and how we can bring more people outdoors to spend time together, building stronger, more resilient communities.

Days 3 & 4: Coaching confidence & skill

  • Learning how to think critically about movement selection.

  • Session planning for different populations.

  • Learning how to troubleshoot.

  • Finding a balance - building your support network and your coaching confidence.

  • Peer-led, practical coaching workshops

  • How to start building your community using our Coaching Pathway toolkit.

Your learning continues after the course

Most courses finish when the weekend ends, this is where the real learning begins.

After the in-person teaching, you'll receive access to a range of ongoing learning opportunities including:

  • Lifetime access to online learning resources

  • Video tutorials and demonstrations

  • Session ideas and coaching examples

  • Access to the WildStrong community

  • Future updates and learning materials

The goal is to continue developing your skills, confidence and understanding over time.

Everyone joins the same four-day training

but follows their own pathway

Together we'll explore practical movement, learning, confidence, adaptability and community. You'll leave with new skills, new perspectives and a supportive group of people to continue learning alongside.

After that, you can choose the pathway that best matches your goals. Some people join because they want to reconnect with their own movement and continue learning for themselves. Others know they want to coach, facilitate and support others.
